I am a low handicapper, average for 9 holes is usually a 37-40 on a par 70 course. I know how to hit the irons, I have hit hybrids, and like the feel and distance of them better.

23 degree 4w is easier. First, it has more loft that gives you more backspin so there is less sidespin(draw and fade).Second, the shaft is shorter so it is easier to handle

Wood Right Handed What tools would be best for hand carving a wood chess set?
I've been interested in hand carving my own wood chess set and board but have no wood carving experience. A chess set has 64 pieces and I think that could be very hard on the hands without the right tools for small wood carving, so I'd like to know what kind of tools would be best for that. Also I would be appreciative of any advice on the type of wood to use and/or tips on staining/glossing.

the smaller tools. they make them in all sizes. and hand carving is hard on the hands always. a good sturdy wood like oak or something like that is good for something you want to last.

Hybrid Iron Wood Should i get a 3 iron or is my 3 hybrid good enough?
Ok. I just started golfing about a year ago. I bought a Wilson golf set for $199. I came with a driver, 3 wood, 3 hybrid, 5 iron, 6 iron, 7 iron, 8 iron, 9 iron, sand wedge, pitching wedge, and a putter. I am going to play on my school's golf team next year. I don't know if i should add a 3 or 4 iron to my set or should i get a new driver. Basically my question is do i need to add a 3 or 4 iron to my set before i get a new driver?
No you do not need a 3 iron and are much better off with a hybrid. Most amateur golfers are getting away from long irons like the 3, even the 4 and using hybrids. Hybrids are much easier to hit and make getting the ball high in the air very simple. If you are going to add another club go with another hybrid. Also it's not the cool thing to do but I bet you could hit your 3 wood off the tee more consistently then your driver and just as far.
